Feature: Naux – Call The Pompelars [Bellissima Records]
French native, Naux landed on our radar about 18 months ago and it was a delight to hear the soulfulness coming back into records. Bellissima! Records released ‘Call The Pompelars’ in 2020 as part of the ‘Calm Down Beach’ series and it still bumps for us over here in Australia. Our first run of this was at Cruise Bar Rooftop for a sundowner summer event which was perfect for the Opera House backdrop. The vocals for us give the record life, it gives us life on the dancefloor and in the booth.
It’s one of those records you pop on the headphones and get a little attitude when you walk down the street. Proper groove!
