Founded in 2014 out of necessity to hear the music we love, Refuge started its journey in any crevice we could. From rooftops to small courtyards, art galleries to hat shop, we began contributing to the culture in our own way. Dedicated to quality house music with a tight knit group of talented creatives, we began rubbing shoulders with some of Australia’s most iconic venues.

From our own label nights at premier nightspots in Sydney to hosting rooms with the best in the business in Amsterdam, Miami and Los Angeles, we found Refuge had its on story to tell and a narrative that hadn’t been heard in a long time.

As we grow, our roster has quickly become family with the likes of Jesse Rose, Brillstein, Oliver Dollar, Demuir, Phil Weeks, Sondrio, Jerk Boy, Pinto (NYC), Greco, Scan 7, ANOTR all lending their time to create memories with us.

We continue to keep to our mantra, there’s No Place Like House. Launching our own club night at 77 and focusing on rebuilding club culture, both in the booth, on the dancefloor, in the streets and most importantly, for the people.
