Los Angeles creative, Manolo landed on our radar via label mates, BOT & Brillstein. The energy from Manolo across all creative fronts resonated super strongly with our mantra at Refuge, an almost no nonsense approach to his art. ‘We Praise’ hits all those notes with its snappy drums and quality sampling technique. This record for us feels very old, in such a new way. Classic elements with a modern spin definitely sums up Manolo for us.
