Jerk Boy puts the cherry on top of his recent run of slammers by collaborating with house god Mike Dunn for his latest gem. Channeling some low-slung bassline funk and snappy disco percussion ‘Keep It On’ is a perfect groove for Dunn’s sultry tones to accompany. The infectious chorus hook rubs against the heads-down delivery in the verses, with snatches of synth and cowbell peppered into the arrangement for added colour. There’s a stripped-back dub for those who like things less vocal-heavy, and a Clapapella in the old skool tool vein.

Jerk Boy is the Sydney producer behind the hugely popular Sosilly Edits 12″s as well as previous Refuge cuts like ‘The Nebroni’.
